You know you're in the South...

when your son arrives at the beach house with these!

Even our governor weighed in on them:

”These Cheerwine Kreme Filled Doughnuts are a great match of iconic brands that have a proud history here in North Carolina,“ she said. ”I know fans of both products are waiting with great anticipation to pick them up in grocery stores across the state.“
Fellow North Carolinians, were you waiting with great anticipation?  Now that you've seen the picture, will you be rushing down to the local Food Lion for your Cheerwine doughnuts?

Save your gas.  They were only available in July.  And truth the tell, I thought they were pretty disgusting.  But then, I don't like "kreme" filled doughnuts anyway, even if the "kreme" is made with Cheerwine.  But I can tell you, they disappeared at the beach house.  Those six boys.  They can eat.

Those are disgusting. I don't like Cheerwine, even.

Huh! I don't think I'd eat a Cheerwine doughnut (what will they think of next?), but I *am* having a nostalgia fit, just because I haven't had a Krispy Kreme in so long!

And you're right, boys will eat just about anything. Especially when they've been playing friscup!
