First there was this stack, from the library and my own shelves....
And now there is this stack, just arrived today (except Local Wilderness and Tree, mine and library).
All these great books... and some I hope are great (haven't read them yet - the reviews say they are!). All resources for this year's co-op class which starts in ... a month and two days!
I think I will hie me to the hammock and read.

Ooh, that sounds so delightful! Supremely jealous. :)
Thank you for a view of the stack!
I love that title about TREE!
Wish I could join in, but alas , I am here and you are there!
I like the look of those stacks! (And we own a few of the books.) What's the course called, exactly, and for what age? Is it the next class for last year's biology class? I always enjoyed reading about your progress in that one :-).
I have checked a few of those out. Can't wait!
Beth, I am so excited that Jonathan will be taking this class with you this year. I have been following your entries about it and just kept thinking what a great experience...and he will get to participate...what a blessing for him and for Amber. I know you are feeling a bit overwhelmed right now planning for this class. But, here are a few more journaling books from my collection you might want to look at: A Life in Hand, and A Trail Through Leaves, both by Hanna Hinchman, and Keeping a Nature Journal by Clare Walker Leslie & Charles Roth. I also have a plant classification key that I just commented on Ambers blog about. Check out her latest entry. If it is something you think you might want to look at/borrow I will send it with her when she comes. Also Amber and I both have the Edwardian Lady books; you may also have those...they might not be as beneficial as some of the others, but you might enjoy them for yourself. I will keep my eye out and try to remember what I used when I taught the sciences. I think I might have some old lab books in the closet that you're also welcome to use, if I haven't gotten rid of them. I will look to see if they are still here...gives me an excuse to clean the hallway closet out! Can't wait to see where you go with this...
