I love that time when everyone - or almost everyone - has arrived. Introductions are made, and it all starts to feel really, really real.
We gathered and waited out a few rainshowers in the Gryde's lovely sun room on the back of their historic home and everybody met everybody. Bridesmaids, groomsmen, sisters and brothers, grandparents, musicians ... the whole crew.
Then we made our way out to the site under the big old willow trees, the site that Kailie showed me back in April, and though the rain had stopped ... some little people insisted that an umbrella was still necessary.
Everyone lined up; places were marked with golf tees ...
and the recessional practiced.
Isn't this a gorgeous spot!
Then the musicians and readers got some instructions ...
and we practiced processing.
Grant, the ring bearer, kept saying things that Clara found ludicrous, preposterous or incredulous. But they got on famously and were, in my humble opinion, the cutest flower girl and ring bearer, ever!
Kailie and her dad practiced processing and the tears started to flow ...
and then smiles ...
and hand holding ...
and big brothers sharing a laugh ...
and more Clara and Grant cuteness. I'm telling you, these two were a trip.

Thank you for sharing about the weekend with us! I am so happy for Matthew :).
As far as cutest ring-bearer....I can remember a VERY cute one who I am VERY partial to myself!
Well, yes, Lil. He was pretty darn cute! I may have to retract my statement : )
